While slavery has been abolished in the United States, any strong capitalistic society needs the wage slave. After the civil war the southern states passed the Black Codes, a set of laws designed to keep black people as the permanent wage slave, to drive the economy.
Whether we realize it or not we have been trained since grade school to be that wage slave. We were told to stay in school, get an education, to get a good job. There wasn't much talk of creating, or developing, or entrepreneurship. The "education" we received prepared us to work forthe creators, the developers and the entrepreneurs. Sure, some wage slaves live better than other wage slaves - but a slave is a slave. What happens when we can no longer work? What happens when (not if) we lose our jobs? Face it - you will lose your job at some point, the only question - who's decision will it be?
-Action-We've been placed behind the eight ball. It's imperative that we do not continue on the path of the worker. We have to have way to make our own money. If you need ideas, we have a few free eBooks that you can download. You can also take a few minutes each day to think about what you are good at. Think about your hobbies, your interests, anything you have always wanted to do.
