In the United States, the Black Codes were laws passed by Southern states in 1865 and 1866, after the Civil War. These laws had the intent and the effect of restricting African Americans' freedom, and of compelling them to work in a labor economy based on low wages or debt. Black Codes were part of a larger pattern of Southern whites trying to suppress the new freedom of emancipated African American slaves, the freedmen.
Creating Our New Standards
Other races have come to America and thrived. They have thrived because they come here and form communities. We believe other races have values and traditions going back centuries stemming from their country of origin. These traditions have been passed down by the members of their respective races that teach the value of education, family, teamwork health and wealth building. We don't do that on a large enough scale for ourselves, because our original culture has been stripped from us, however, it is up to us to form a new one.
The New Black Codes
These new foundation of values will be the New Black Codes. This is the purpose of this website, to create an instill a new set of traditions geared for, compiled by, and implemented by us for our development. These new traditions will become the foundation for our revival, focusing on the value of real education, family, team work, conduct, health and wealth building.
The idea behind this is for practical use. We as black people are statistically the poorest and unhealthiest of the racial groups in America. These new standards will become the blueprint for any individual within the black community that desires to improve their condition based off of real world information submitted by our community. A strong individual, helps to form strong communities and families.
